CheckMate, the revolutionary online and mobile check-in service for hospitality, announced today that Rydges Hotels and Resorts has selected their guest-centric tools to personalize service and increase profits across 49 properties. Working with CheckMate, Rydges anticipates seeing an increase in loyalty program memberships and will be able to differentiate their brand by offering the convenience of online and mobile check-in. The Rydges Sydney Airport property was the first to launch the new check-in technology and has been generating $4,000 in monthly incremental revenue from room upgrades and ancillaries. With CheckMate, guests no longer have to wait in line at the front desk, can personalize their stay online and receive alerts on their smartphone when their room is ready. Operationally, the guest data provided by CheckMate can help staff anticipate guest needs pre-arrival.

In addition to offering online check-in, another benefit for Rydges has been encouraging guests to sign-up for their Priority Guest Rewards program. CheckMate’s intuitive functionality “pre-fills” the loyalty enrollment form, making it very simple for guests to sign-up.
