American Foundry Society Rolls Out Operations Benchmarking Platform.
Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of online benchmarking survey and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, web-based benchmarking tool for the American Foundry Society (AFS). This new data collection and reporting platform provides valuable, real-time comparison of key performance indicators for AFS members that can be used to improve performance and profitability. The survey data will help AFS members in the United States and abroad make informed decisions for the future of their operations members.
Serving more than 700 corporate members and close to 7,000 individual members since 1896, AFS represents the interests of metalcasting processors, suppliers, and OEM facilities in over 41 countries. In addition to providing advocacy both in the United States and abroad, AFS delivers ongoing education and professional development to its members and is the world’s largest publisher of metalcasting-related books, technical papers and reports.
“This new platform allows AFS members to make more accurate and meaningful comparisons of their operations as well as view general industry trends,” comments Jane Higgins, Dynamic Benchmarking Co-founder and CEO. “Quick access to customizable reports will give members the ability to make informed business decisions faster than ever before.”
The AFS operations survey collects data from its members that measures and compares the performance of their individual operations to others in their industry. Dynamic Benchmarking provides a safe and secure means for survey participants to share detailed financial and operational data anonymously without fear of allowing access to proprietary data to potential competitors. Members are able to gain access to critical information vital to assessing their performance against their peers and for making informed business decisions for the future.
