Bookacoach Reveals Its Upcoming Expansion into Indianapolis.

bookacoach is pleased to announce expansion of operations in their Indianapolis office, with the creation of up to 93 new, full-time positions for Indiana resident employees by 2018.

“Look for a business climate built to support entrepreneurship, and you’ll find Indiana,” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). “Tech companies like bookacoach thrive here, with Hoosiers driving innovative ideas to market. With an excellent idea and just the right execution, opportunities become limitless, and new businesses can become success stories in a state that works.”

The IEDC offered Bookit Commerce, Inc. up to $875,000 in conditional tax credits, and up to $56,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.

To support the short-term expansion, bookacoach is adding office space with the leasing of 2,500 additional square feet near the SpeakEasy in Broad Ripple, formerly the office of start-up, TinderBox.

“As Indiana natives, our founder and I felt strongly that the state provides the greatest opportunity for long-term success for bookacoach, both financially and operationally,” said Myles Grote, Chief Revenue Office and Co-Founder of bookacoach.

bookacoach, the destination for sports lessons, offers online tools that simplifies the booking, scheduling, and feedback aspects of sports instruction. All coaches must undergo the bookacoach background check repeated annually. The process was developed with the guidance and support of local law enforcement, and consists of a national, state, and county-level background check.

Since its formation in 2011, bookacoach has grown to become the nation’s largest online sports lesson marketplace of county level background checked coaches.
