Focusing on continually pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling experiences, Cinematique, has recently announced a successful funding of $800,000 in venture capital round from a network of investors and a group of high net worth individuals to close out its financial round. A partner at NYC-based Flavorpill and COO of Digital Ocean, Karl Alomar. and CEO of Velocify, Nick Hedges are among Cinematique prominent angels. The new capital shall be utilized to further develop the startup’s touchable technology, implementing new marketing strategies and acquiring new partnerships as well.

Nearing the release of their iOS, the Cinematique platform shall provide brands and content creators with the capability to turn their online videos into a “touchable” experience. While viewing a video, whether its a music video, famous television show or a fashion brands latest collection, viewers can simple “touch” the product on the screen they are interested in and save them into a personal boutique that can be shared and shopped at a later time. The technology also gives content producers the capability to assess the value of their efforts and better understand how their audience consumer content. Cinematique’s innovative and valuable platform has placed them in the forefront of the entire online video industry.
