Consumer Technology Startup Upfront, Teams Up with Robbie Williams
A tech media startup which builds private networks for the top artist and influences in the world, Upfront, has recently reached an agreement with one of the top-selling British artists around, Robbie Williams, as her prepares for his worldwide “Swing Both Ways Live” tour. With the Upfront platform, Robbie Williams will provide exclusive content throughout the tour, backstage access, personal meet and greets, along with voice calls, text messages and online chats.
The “Upfront with Robbie Williams” site will provide Robbie Williams with an exclusive platform to connect with fans from a private spam free and ad-free environment like no other social media platform has ever done so before. The subscription-based web platform has officially launched as of yesterday with a mobile version to be released later during this month. Furthermore, Robbie Williams wont be the only one to have a private network provided by Upfront, but so will such artist as, Deadmau5, Deepak Chopra, Hillsong United, Maxwell, and many other artist and leaders.
Upfront was also recently awarded for having a far-reaching patent covering paid mobile content. Named “System and Method for Implementing a Subscription-Based Social Media Platform,” the patent will cover live broadcasts, SMS messaging, emails, voice calls, and much more content delivered within a private, paid social media, and fan club system.
