Countable, The App That Changes The Way American Interact With Lawmakers.

This recently launched application, Countable, contains two feature that make it highly valuable, One- click communications with Capitol Hill  and digestible description of any given bill in Congress.

Countable was developed by the team that had founded, created, and cultivated and successfully sold that company to Rovi during 2011. Advisers have include political insiders such as Joe Trippi, who masterminded revolutionary use of technology during a Howard Dean’s campaign back in 2003-2004.

“I truly believe that Countable will become the go-to app for influencing lawmakers, and will shake up the process,” Trippi said.

In a time were Buzzfeeds exist, when ” quick and simple” rules, Countable has made  policy making accessible for consitituents in three straightforward manner:

  • It offers a succinct and digestible description of any given piece of legislation in the House and Senate, along with brief pro and con arguments.
  • It provides constituents with a way to tell their Representative and Senators how to vote, with just one click.
  • It supplies tools to keep users informed as to whether their Representatives and Senators voted the way they were urged to.

Countable offers huge benefits for towards other key audiences. For congress members and their staff, Countable provides a central place to track trends for and against upcoming policy from their constituents, targeted towards those who may have an interest in many specific issues.

For other groups, Countable provides a place to organize support for or opposition against any given piece of legislation, by driving membership to this easy to use website and application, allowing them to learn more about constituents, interest and trends, to see which issue are currently the hottest stuff, and which are not.

“The reason Countable will succeed with the public is it truly boils down the issues, and it is easy to use,” said Bart Myers, CEO of Countable. “Politics are far too complex and inaccessible, as is. Countable’s strength is that it makes politics and policy accessible to both those who watch the 24-hour news cycle, and those who may not. Unlike other attempts at political and policy apps, there is huge growth potential, with Countable.”

Countable is a launching a web-based app, with iPhone and Android apps planned for rollout, soon.
