What Should Entrepreneurs Eat For Breakfast?
Studies show that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is the biggest boost of the day, and breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day. Chances are that you can burn the calories of your breakfast throughout the day. On the other hand, you do not have as much time for burning your dinner as you would with breakfast. Breakfast is suppose to keep your mind awake and keep you fresh. So, what should entrepreneurs eat for breakfast?
Avoid Fatty Foods
Avoid bacon and sausage as much as possible. Even though traditional American breakfast food revolves around bacon and sausage, you should avoid it as much as possible. Bacon has a lot of fat that you do not want. Those fat can clog up your system and make you feel extremely sluggish. It’s also not very good for your health in the long run.
Carbohydrates is a must have for an entrepreneur’s breakfast. Entrepreneurs need the energy in the morning to grind out those email, paperwork, voicemail, text messages, and follow ups. Carbohydrates provide our system with enough energy to make it pass the day. It also helps clear the mind. We all know that carbohydrates could be really fat so be careful with what you choose. Most cultures like to have beans and a small toast as their main carbohydrate for breakfast, while countries in Asia like to have congee, a small plate of noddle, or even a little rice for breakfast. Nevertheless, all countries believe in the power of carbs!
Why are eggs good? Low Fat and High Protein. Without protein, our bodies would be extremely sluggish and flabby. That isn’t something that we want! The amount of protein every needs per day varies between age and size, but most entrepreneurs like to start their day off with 3-5 eggs. If you are looking to bulk up, then you might want to eat a few more for the protein. If you are on a diet, you could always opt for egg whites.
Remember that an espresso machine was one of the first things that Steve Jobs bought? I know that for me, coffee not only keeps me awake but also helps me freshen up my mind allowing me to finish things up a lot faster. This is why I always feel like I think better in the morning. The newer generation of entrepreneurs don’t use coffee in the morning as much anymore. Some of them claim it is because they have to attend coffee sessions during the day, so they don’t want too much caffeine.
Fruits can be considered dessert for breakfast time. Most people would agree that the best fruit for the morning is a banana. It has just enough nutrition for your early morning. Something to keep in mind is that it is always better to eat a whole fruit than to drink a cup of fruit juice.
You might ask what happen to veggies. Entrepreneurs hate veggies, just kidding! Usually entrepreneurs tend to eat veggies for dinner. If you want some for your breakfast it is best to include it in your eggs. Try to use veggies that are more light such as spinach and save broccoli for night time.
