Instagram Receives A Sleeker Design And Better Tweaking.
Instagram has announced a new updated look for their Android version of their famous social media site, with loads of design changes and giving it a more quicker response then ever before.
An excerpt from instagram blog states. “Since first launching Instagram for Android in April of 2012, we’ve come to support thousands of different Android devices of all shapes and sizes. In taking time to polish our designs, we’ve worked to make sure that Instagram feels native and at home on any Android device.”
The New Design and Tweaks.
Instagram a has gotten a whole new look to sport a more android look, then its previous similarities of its iOS counterpart. The developers really took a lot of time to work on the finesse of the aesthetics. The layouts and placement of the digital buttons are still the same, but they have been flattened and tweak far better. The banner previous gradient background is gone and the Instragam logo stands out in pure white. Photos now have a much more lighter font for the time stamps that become attached to them and the upper right corner.
The icons have all been changed along with some new visuals for the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. The Instagram logo that’s in the center has been changed to a more minimalistic circle and square pattern that can also be found on the iOS version of this app. The Explore section has also been given a nice cut to give photos even more space on the screen, creating a much more lighter and pleasant look from its previous cluttered up screen of boxes and lines.
This recent update has managed to make the Android application even more faster then before. Instagram has mentioned that profile page should load twice as fast. The size of the application has been halved too optimize speed across the use.“In taking time to polish our designs, we’ve worked to make sure that Instagram feels native and at home on any Android device,” the company said
