Loyalty Company Swipii card Wins ‘Best New Venture of 2014’ Award

UK-based startup Swipii has been emerging as one of the must watch company’s when it comes to customer loyalty market after winning “The Best Venture of 2014″ award from the Scottish Institute for Enterprise.

Swipii is an innovative customer loyalty company for small time business to utilize for their customer relationship in creating and retention. The company is looking towards to redefine loyalty with their Swipii cards and mobile application that allows customers to collect various rewards and loyalty from all forms of business.

Helping Small Businesses.

This product is quite essential for small time business to understand the importance of gaining their customers attention, particularly during these days markets, where they are facing increasing pressure from retailing stores and big named brands.

Chitresh Sharma, CEO of Swipii, has described the motivation behind the start of the company:

“Small businesses need more out of loyalty schemes. Loyalty means more than the paper punch card, which due to cost, time and technical constraints, is all small businesses have. Against multi-million pound CRM systems from brands like Tesco and Starbucks, small business loyalty needs to catch up.

“At the same time, small businesses have focused more and more on acquiring new customers through transactional, one-off sales. Companies like Groupon or Livingsocial have convinced businesses that they are the answer but this results in eye-popping discounts bringing in one time, delusional traffic.

Louis Schena, Swipii’s COO, continues, saying:

“We’re really proud to win the award, it’s further validation of our innovation in the customer loyalty market.

“We want to redefine customer loyalty by creating custom and unique loyalty rewards programs which are tailored to individual businesses in order to reflect their store culture, objective and personality of their owners.

“Our plan is to go against the existing trend of creating short term sales by working closely with small and medium sized businesses to help them bring their customers back more often.
“Swipii loyalty rewards can be unique to each business and as fun and quirky as they like, for example rewards could start with ‘A free high five from our staff on your first visit’ to ‘2 hours personal baking lessons with the head chef’ in a cupcake shop.”

At the current moment, Swipii is in beta testing and they have over 24 merchants within Glasgow city center all signed up and ready to launch for at the end of April.
