New Fashion Brand, M.Bottiglieri Holds Its Official Launch Party In New York.
The 24th Floor Rooftop at the Hudson was host to the official launch event for the new luxury Fashion Company on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014. Hudson was filled with joyful exuberance and energy, and the space reflected a passion for life, which was in the collective spirit of the M. Bottiglieri brand.
Owned by the Morgan’s Hotel Group, Hudson’s rooftop offered a unique and stylish setting for the fete. Spectacular views of the New York City skyline and Hudson River, accompanied by a cellist and pianist, set the elegant and classic tone for the evening. The centerpiece of the rooftop was a showcase of six models dedicated to the fundamental pieces of the collection, which highlighted the notable looks of M. Bottiglieri. The venue was ideal and allowed for free flowing exploration of the new brand.
Among the attendees were press, boutique owners from SoHo, Midtown, and the Tri-State area, bloggers, fashion editors, and investors. Distinguished guests included Fritz Winans, Douglas Hannant, renowned bespoke tailor Katalin Varga, & Founder and CEO of the new luxury brand, Salvatore Vitiello. On site were the company’s personal stylists offering styling services for the collection throughout the event. All garments were on display among a sea of M. Bottiglieri signature boxes with red satin ribbon adorning every corner of the venue.
The brand, which was released online to the public on May 16th, includes a Summer/Fall 2014 collection of women’s ready-to-wear dresses, blazers, skirts, pants, and blouses.
“Beginning from the intelligent fabric choices, which allow for stretch and comfort, through the intricacies of detail in construction, including the hidden ladybug embroidery, the M. Bottiglieri collection invokes a beautiful awakening of the senses. The visual aesthetic using clean lines and the practical day-to-evening versatility of the garments gives professional women a powerful combination of business, beauty, and confidence. The silk linings bring an unexpected and alluring tactile sense of luxury with every step,” states Co-Founder Aleen Hosdaghian.
Already creating buzz with the brand inspiration “la coccinella”, Italian for ladybug, the collection is well on its way. The brand has been recognized by the press for its women’s bespoke option that has had early success along with a robust marketing strategy dedicated to creating a unique experience in today’s online consumer market. Adding to the collection’s appeal, all garments are made in New York City of fine Italian fabrics, but for the cashmere, which is sourced and manufactured in Treviso, Italy.
In addition to its online boutique, M.Bottiglieri will be showcasing the sale of the collection through various pop-up shops, boutiques and trunk shows throughout the summer in Eastern Long Island, the Hamptons, and particularly focusing on Montauk and the Montauk Beach House on Saturday, June 28, 2014 during its Summer Series Showcase.
