WeAreLATech Rolls Our Its Comprehensive LA Startup Events Calendar.

Updated weekly, the WeAreLATech calendar offers its users daily LA tech events, such as as conferences, launch parties, demos, and more. Visitors to the site can easily add their own startup event to the calendar with barely any hassle.

During the 1990′s, the name synonymous with technology was the Silicon Valley, home of eBay, Yahoo and Amazon. Although, with more big league technology startups such as Snapchat and Whisper coming from the Los Angeles area, LA Startups website WeAreLATech saw the need to catalog all of the important events for the industry.

WeAreLATech is proud to announce a comprehensive calendar of all LA Startup related events on their website. The calendar helps shine a spotlight on the stretch from Venice to Santa Monica to Hollywood to Orange County thriving with innovation.

News outlets such as The New York Times, Time Magazine and Forbes are focusing on this new area of technology known as “Silicon Beach.” The locale is quickly becoming the hot spot for social networking companies like At The Pool and e-commerce companies like NastyGal. WeAreLATech was initially developed as a source of information for the world of LA Tech and as a place for local startups to have their company featured in a video series.

“WeAreLATech features one LA-based startup every day. We want to showcase the companies making this city a top destination for technology,” stated WeAreLATech’s creator Espree Devora. “The LA Tech scene has become so massive that there are multiple events happening every night. It’s overwhelming, so we quickly saw the need to create an unbiased central location for everyone to know what’s happening and when, so that they don’t miss a thing.”
